🌿 Day 1: Touch Down in George & Explore the Wilderness

We start our journey in George, and head straight into paradise — Wilderness! This laid-back coastal town is the ideal welcome to the Garden Route.

What we plan to do in Wilderness:

• Explore the peaceful Kaaimans River area

• Sip a cocktail with a fabulous view at Victoria Bay

• Exploring the “Map of Africa” viewpoint

• Optional: River cruise in Wilderness National Park

🌳 Days 2 & 3: Explore Knysna’s Lagoon & Enjoy Forest Adventures

Knysna holds a special place in our hearts — from the dramatic Heads to the tranquil lagoon, it’s pure magic.

What we plan to do in Knysna:

• Scenic drive through the Seven Passes Road

• Ferry ride to Featherbed Nature Reserve

• Sunset catamaran cruise with dinner onboard

• Oyster & wine tasting at the Knysna Waterfront

• Panoramic views from the iconic Knysna Heads

• Visit Plettenberg Bay

🌲 Day 4: A Scenic Drive to Prince Albert 

Nestled at the base of the Swartberg Mountains, this little town is packed with Karoo charm, art galleries, and slow living.

What we plan on doing in Prince Albert:

• Explore galleries and local craft shops

• Enjoy a relaxed evening in a historic Karoo setting

🏔️ Day 5: Taking the Swartberg Pass towards Oudtshoorn and Montagu 

We journey inland via the semi-arid Klein Karoo and pass through Oudtshoorn, known for its ostrich farms and the Cango Caves — perfect for a quick photo stop and a coffee break.

Next Stop: Montagu Nestled at the base of the Swartberg Mountains, this little town is packed with Karoo charm, art galleries, and slow living.

We continue along South Africa’s famous Route 62, one of the most scenic drives in the world, toward Montagu, a hot spring haven.

Along the way:

• Stop at quirky farm stalls and wineries

• Enjoy lunch and a browse in Barrydale or Calitzdorp

What makes Montagu special:

• Soothing hot springs

• Colonial architecture and peaceful streets

• Optional spa treatments or easy nature walks

🛤️ Day 6 and 7: Visit Franschhoek Wine Region

We make our way to Franschhoek. Think mountain passes, boutique wine farms, and charming villages.

Franschhoek is a charming village, known as the culinary capital of South Africa and is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.

Explore award-winning wine estates and enjoy leisurely tastings.

🏙️ Day 8 – 11: Explore Cape Town & The Cape Peninsula

This is one of our favourite days! Cape Town is a gem, and the peninsula is nothing short of spectacular.

What we plan on doing:

• Boulder’s Beach penguin colony

• Drive along Chapman’s Peak (camera ready!)

• Optional: VIP Cable car up Table Mountain or Scenic Helicopter Flight (Rates on request) 

• Sunset drinks at Camps Bay

💙 Day 12: Goodbye For Now… But Not Forever!

We enjoy a relaxed breakfast and depending on your flight time, a last stroll at the V&A Waterfront or quick shopping spree.

Transfers to Cape Town International Airport included.
